Question about Camo

For some reason I think the various camo patterns are neat. Around the time of Desert Storm. I saw a pattern, I believe it was a Desert Night Camo. It is dark green with little checks. Is this a US pattern in use by our troops? I can't find it listed. I was watching the Best Sniper Competition (Ft Benning) on TLC. The US Special Forces team had this one shooter who was wearing this camo.
Thanks,
tjg

From what I remember the camo you mentioned was only on the reverse of the desert field coat. I'm not sure if it is still in use. But, yes, it was US Army issue.

I have one of those, love the way it fits too. I was issued it during the Storm, then brought it home. I think I wore it once for Halloween...with a really scarry mask. I wonder where it is now?

They also make pants of the same camo pattern to go with the parka...
