I painted my rifle and I'm just trying to figure out how to post pictures, so I figured I'd do it on topic.

It's too light, so I'll have to darken it soon, but I just wanted to try out my camera.

DO NOT drop your rifle in the snow - you'll have to come back in the spring to find it!

Actually, I'm gunnin for the Grinch 'cause I sure got hosed last Christmas :D .

It looks darker in person, I think my flash washed it out some. Anyway, I'm actually in the process of darkening it now, so maybe I'll stick up a new pic this evening.

as far as camo goes, lighter is better than darker.

you can always darken camo in the field, (and shadows will do that anyhow) lightening it is about impossible.

error on the light side.

looks good, turn off the flash and take another.

SkaerE, I kinda liked the light myself, but I went with the experienced guys at Sniper's Hide recommendations to darken it a bit. I don't think its too dark and it certainly matches up with my brand new, way-too-dark-amatuer ghillie suit better :p .

Besides, I'm not an operator, just a noob goin to a class. I don't wanna be a total screwup but I'm sure not gonna be bleedin' edge either.

The darker rifle:
