In the interest of the recent SWAT movie thread, I thought that maybe a quick overview of the various hand signals used by special response teams might be appreciated.

I'm enjoying seeing this posted, and reposted, and reposted again on three different boards. Every time it's listed as something else. SWAT team hand signals, Navy SEAL hand signals, Boy Scout hand signals, Army hand signals, postal worker hand signals, theatre troupe gone postal hand signals, etc., etc..

My personal favorite hand signal? Flip the bird, put your other hand over it. = "Cover me, I'm screwed."
