New S&W 36-7 snubby for me.

I just picked this up from a guy who didn't know much about wheelguns and wanted something a little different. He sold it to me for $350. The bluing is excellent, if there is a cylinder ring it is very very faint, and only one mark near the screw. Serial number is BND93xx.
It says .38special on it but I think I can shoot +P out of it but not sure.
I think I got a great deal on it. What do you guys think? It was really a spur of the moment thing.
