I was hoping someone knowledgable can clear this up for me. I'm in the market for a Kadet NIB with a threaded barrel. I can't find any info on this model on the CZ site. Also, the models I'm seeing for sale at various places do not have the threaded barrel. I only see those on gunbroker. Is this a discontinued model, or are those some kind of conversion? Or are they just hard to find?

The CZ Kadet Kit is still available although they don't sell it with a threaded barrel IIRC. You would have to have an aftermarket threaded barrel installed.

You might Czech out the CZForum.com, under the CZ Kadet Club. There was a fellow on there that had a custom-threaded barrel on his Kadet, and a suppressor on the end to boot. Sounds a bit like overkill on a .22LR to me, but to each their own. Whatever drops his hammer.

I bought a kadet (kit for my cz-75) NIB with threaded barrel from a site that sells suppressors. Can't remember the name off-hand but I just bought it a few months ago. Very happy with it.
