I just recently acquired a 10/22 K-Hornet; the fire formed K-hornet rounds do no feed in the factory 10/22 hornet magazine. Does anyone have the same problem or where can I get a modified magazine that will feed the K-hornet rounds?

MY MISTAKE, IT'S A 77/22 K-HORNET.

I don't think you have a 10/22 semi-auto in .22 Hornet.

Sure it isn't a 77/22RH bolt-action?

Anywho, the K-Hornet case taper is way different then a standard .22 Hornet.
And there are at least two versions of that. (35 & 40 degree shoulder)

I would imagine the sharp shoulder angle is bumping the nose down too far as it slides foreword out of the magazine.

It is likely the magazine feed lips would have to be re-shaped / ground to get it to feed reliably.

You might contact Z-Hat and see if they still do mag work for them.

I have never heard of a 10/22 in .22 Hornet and I doubt the rifle would stand up to the round, even if the bolt were converted to center-fire and the magazine somehow made to work.

RCMODEL, thanks for the web site; that's exactly what I needed. Thanks again.

BTW: I would send them a couple of fired cases with your magazines so they can determine exactly which K-Hornet version your gun is chambered for.
