I've been wearing the Versa Max for almost 6 months and was wondering if anyone has any experience wirt the Watch Six. I might get one if I hear favorable reports. I do like my VM but wonder if I should have tried the WS.

IMO , the biggest difference is that the VM2 has a reinforced mouth. The W6 does not .

I have a Watch-6 for my BHP and a VM-2 for the 1911 Gov't.
The Watch-6 is a much more "minimalist" holster. It is merely two layers of horsehide, molded to shape. There is no reinforcement. The belt loop attachments are "thinner" - they do not have the stacked leather "offset" the VM2 does, and it is not tuckable. The VM2 is better for practicing lots of draws/reholsters because of the reinforced mouth.
I prefer the Watch-6 for CCW because it is thinner and less bulky.

What Zak said, though currently I'm using a Roadrunner.

I've been wearing mine for about 1½ years. It's the thinnest IWB I could find. Very comfortable with my 5" 1911A1.

I have the Watch Six Dual Talon variation, with clips instead of loops. I use it with a 4" 1911, works great. Big advantage over the VM2 (which I also have) is the thinner profile. It makes for a thinner overall package and conceals very well. I use the WS far more than the VM2 for concealment, but when I am on the range, I use the VM2 because the reinforced mouth does not close up, like the WS can.
Not being a LEO, I am not too worried about the reholstering issue in normal Concealed carry use.
