I have a browning A-bolt stainless stalker in 30/06 with the BOSS system and some extras and browning doesnt have any reccomended 'sweet spots' for the ammo im using, I could painstakingly find it myself with costly ammo or I thought I might ask if anyone found the sweet spot on thier BOSS for 180 grain winchester Power-points or power point plus. I've been shooting with the boss set at 5 but I dont think im emphasising the potential of the BOSS system yet. Thanks.

I have a Winchester Model 70 .270 with the BOSS, and it's a good system. Even if there were a recommended sweet spot for your load, you would still want to experiment with the adjustments. Mine was a few "clicks" off of the recommended setting for my bullet weight. Just start with a setting for 30-06 and work from there.

Browning's website lists BOSS sweet spots for a range of bullet weights in various calibers. That list may be more comprehensive than the one you are using.
