Yeah, we do have rules. They are at the top right of the pages.
We do try to keep to the high road in words and deeds.

Humor is good...but bear in mind that a reader may not be privy to an in joke and cannot see the expression on the face of the writer.

Reading and heeding the rules; and getting acquainted with the general tone will go a long way toward having a long, informative and fun stay here.

We are sitting in a window, open to the world. At nearly all times there are lurkers looking at us. Some some out of curiosity. Some testing the waters. Some seeking information. Some with an agenda. We try to not throw too many goodies out for the rights banners to use against us.

True, true, too true... but if its "Legal and Political" in nature there is a great forum one stop down from General (Firearm) Discussion, that allows a little looser leeway (at times) as long as its germain to either legal or political and, of course (it should go without saying) you stick to "The High Road".

We've talked about quaffing favorite cereal malt beverages (AFTER SHOOTING SESSIONS) and sometimes ask for a prayer or two or whatnot but ya always want to throw in the oblique reference to Firearms related discussion. ROTL will steer ya straight in a heartbeat if ya even think of doing it (Frank Sinatra voice on) "MYYYYY WAAAAAY" (Frank Sinatra voice off).

Did Frank like to go shooting? I wonder. Probably. Even Elvis liked to blast a good TV set once in awhile whilst in Vegas. Frank liked to defend his honor. Maybe that would be a better topic for Strategies and Tactics :D

It's funny, a lot of the new arrivals, the glock guys as you call them, do not even own glocks. I should have changed my handle a long time ago because I do not have a g22 anymore. I am becoming more of a revolver man myself.

I have been a member here since the beginning, but read more than I post. There is so much good knowledge here. Most of the time, when I am reading a thread and think of something to contribute, most of the time someone says it before I can post it myself.

number6 = I originally registered under a different name (Heywood Jablome) that was unacceptable to the forum guidlines. Justin (a mod) was kind enough to delete my name and hand me this one as a temporary until I came up with a different handle. I decided to keep it because in truth I own 5 firearms, and my next one will be Number 6. :) And I like this one a lot better. Not so "in your face", if ya know what I mean! :D
