I saw a 20ga stoeger coach I liked for 200$ but the shoulder stock has been hacked into a pistol grip stub, not exactly what I would consider useful.

Anyone know where I can find a regular rear stock for one of these?

(also repeated this post in the gun smithing forum)

thanks

The Boito used to be the same thing. I have bought Boito parts for a Stoeger Uplander (same gun with no exposed hammers) and they were a proper fit. I cannot vouch for it 100% now.

You can send the gun to Stoeger and they will restock it for you. I was going to send my gun to them for the same reason long ago. They'll do it no problem they said. I was also referred by Stoeger to a place called Mann & Sons sporting goods in which they are the distributor of replacement parts for these guns and they carry the stocks from time to time. You can order and fit it yourself too. You'll have to call Stoeger to get the info. Good luck.

I answered my own question with a call to stoeger they refered me to a place called calvin I think, they actually discouraged me indicating it was a custom gunsmith operation ( maybe they figured that would encourage me to go new instead ) i called the place they refered me anyways and the guy there said it was only minor fitting anyone can do. Worked today and was too lazy to go buy the gun but if its there tues I plan on picking it up
