Maverick to Mossberg Coversion

I have read a couple threads online about how to put a mossberg 500 foregrip on a Maverick Model 88 Security. I read somewhere that you have to change out some parts does anyone know what the parts are?

You'll have to change the action tube. The Maverick's foregrip is riveted on, whereas the 500's grip is screwed on with a nut.

Note: a very small number of Mavericks came from the factory with the 500's action tube. I know this for fact, as I purchased one with a screw-on type. If your foregrip looks like this one, it is the screw on type:
