Any members here know a rough idea of the shop time/turn around time for Clark Custom Guns and Geminicustoms.com ?

I am thinking of buying a few new Ruger .357magnum and/or .38spl revolvers, GP-100 or SP-101 and want to get the custom work done w/o a long long wait.

I'm having geminicustoms build me my 2nd 1911 and the lead time is 18 months but I think that Marc does the sp101 work in batches and turnaround time is probably 3-5 months. At least that's what it was a few months ago when I inquired about it. If you haven't gotten an sp101 yet, Marc usually has them in stock and it maybe faster if you get the gun from him. Cost is comparable to other vendors. Call him. He's a GREAT guy to deal with and I totally love the 1911 longslide he built for me a year ago. I vouch for him 100%!

I may buy a NIB 4" blue steel barreled Ruger GP-100 with adj sights. I'm thinking about Gemini's Black T package for it, if the gunsmiths do the format for either the SP-101 or GP-100 models. The DA only revolvers would be for CC/protection/duty and I may need to re-locate in 3/4/5 months, :cool:.
