If you haven't, we're in the comment period for the new rules, ending June 30.

The comments MUST BE BY MAIL.

Here's the address:

Your letter MUST have "1024-AD70" written at the top.

The nos are winning!!! Kinda goes with the NRA member thing. All want 2A rights but!!!

I certainly sent comment in favor of the rule change.


In fact, as of this morning there were more than 8600 comments on the rule change proposal. SOme of the gun bloggers have randomly sampled the comments and state that finding a comment against carry was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Let's pour it on...

Online comments mean bupkis. In order to push this through, snail mail is the only way to go.

I sent my letter last week.
I've got my fingers crossed that we'll see a big improvement from the Parks Service with the Interior Dept. head from Idaho at the helm.

You do NOT have to mail comments; you may comment online. Before winging it, please go to my website and copy the suggested regulation wording at least:

<hint: This is exactly the same wording that all the petitioners who joined VCDL in the NPS petition are using. It went out in one of VCDL's VA Alerts>

Please use the Petitioner recommended wording. And we're not losing by any stretch of the imagination.
