SPR220 Auto-safety disable?

I did a search, but couldn't find anything on this topic...

Remington Bakail SPR220, 12 gauge SxS, no external hammers; it has the autosafety that engages everytime you reload.

What is the process for disabling the auto-engagement feature BUT still keeping the safety in working condition if engaged manually?

Surely someone's done this... SASS shooters? Anyone?

We did it on a Spartan O/U. Was just a matter of taking out a link. The safety still works, but must be engaged manually. Took longer to take the stock off than to actually remove the link. Good luck with the SxS!
