Would it be possible to get a 10mm slide, barrel, etc. fitted to my NRM Gov't Model? I know they make 10mm 1911s, and that they use the same basic frames as the .45 models.

So, would it be possible, if expensive? Who makes the parts?

Yes. The only question is if the existing .45ACP feed-ramp in the frame will feed 10mm. I don't know.

The slide can be had from Caspian: 4340 carbon steel 5" slide for $180.

A barrel should be around $150 - 250. Then you'll need all the fiddly bits: bushing, sights, firing pin, extractor, etc.
