For everyone who hunts in Africa - bring some of this stuff back with you! Amtrak needs help! :D

From the Telegraph, London, 08/21/03 (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;$sessionid$JK3PYRQ1LPBTLQFIQMGSFF4AVCBQWIV0?xml=/news/2003/08/21/wbul21.xml&sSheet=/news/2003/08/21/ixworld.html#2a):

Railway abandons lion dung

A railway in Japan that used lion dung to deter deer from straying on to the tracks has found the experiment too repellent. Trains hit around 10 deer a month along a track in western Wakayama before the West Japan Railway Co spread lion dung along the line.

Not one deer has been run over since, but Toshihiko Iwata, a spokesman for the line, said: "The track really did stink." Since hunters believe deer dislike white, the railway is now testing sheets of shiny styrofoam.

Padre, how do you suggest shipping the lion, uh, WASTE to the U.S. or Japan? Appears to me you could easily irk the postal authorities . . . . And I'm not at all sure I'd want it in my personal luggage when coming home. Some of those baggage inspectors have NO sense of humor.
