Moderators,
Mr. Kellet Stephens AKA Cohiba, has asked me to inquire how long he has been banned from the board. He would like to come back if possible.
I know that a ban normally means forever, but if it is forever, then please let him know.
I don't even know why he was banned in the first place, but know from reading other posts it was because of something he wrote in a post.
Please give him another chance to post.

"Using third parties to mediate communication is a sign of instability."
(I'm not sure whether that gem of wisdom from a certain cancelled TV show is true, but it fits the situation :) )

Your friend has used up the opportinities not to get banned. THR staff will give several opportunities to anyone but the most obvious trolls or the most egrigeous boors. However, once the process of increasingly urgent calls for civility is completed, the user is asked to find another forum. Nothing personal, just trying to keep this venue the way it has to be: polite, real and -- just like the real world -- possessed of long-term negative consequences for picking on other members. The ban is for the duration of the forum. Most once-banned TFL members used their new lease on life here wisely.

I have shared family time with Oleg. Whether or not he chooses to grant additional webspace presence to the offender will be a decision that I, for one, will not question.
Cohiba’s desire to return to such a positive site, I feel, is a good sign. Such a return would be predicated upon a man (Oleg) who has seen more turmoil in one week then some of us will experience in a lifetime. If such a return is granted, and abused, woe be unto the next. Perchance Cohiba will show a new attitude if allowed back, thereby granting understanding for those transgressors to follow.
And you know we’ll have a couple. ;)
Edit myself once again.
After reading Oleg's post, REALLY reading it...Question asked & answered.

Oleg does not ban without due thought and investigation.
Cohiba was banned for cause.
