Garand barrel ID

Hello
I have a Springfield Garand.
I cannot decipher the marking on the side of the barrel.
The top is marked: D35448-35-y 24-B M
What does this tell me? Could it possibly be a Springfield barrel?

D35448-35 is the drawing number for the barrel. No way to tell who made it if you can't read the stampings on the side
