Bartholomew Roberts June 3, 2008, 08:45 AM matheath, generally when a post you made previously mysteriously disappears - particularly given the post you made here - you should not repost the same material again later. saltydog452 June 3, 2008, 10:00 AM I confess to having an un-natural fondness for the 3913 LadySmith. salty Southern6er June 5, 2008, 03:30 PM Kimber Pro Carry II with handmade grips - burled walnut in my cordovan horse/shark Milt Sparks VM II holster. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/skimblz/Kimber/DSCN0142.jpg Nick Mathews holster... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/skimblz/Kimber/DSCN0047.jpg Without the leather... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/skimblz/Kimber/DSCN0520.jpg Let's not go into the milsurps with restored stocks. :) GearHead_1 June 5, 2008, 03:39 PM That's definitely a best of both worlds type grip (smooth and checkered). The longer I looked at it the more it grew on me. I love burled walnut with a high gloss almost plastic look to it. Silvanus June 5, 2008, 06:31 PM This thread reminds me of when I am about to take a bite of something really delicious and it slips off the utencil without me noticing, and I end up getting a big let down. That's awesome :D :D If I were to have a sig line I would put that quote right in there :D
