Thinking about putting one on my M&P since the CT laser grip is pricey & that $ could go to buy another gun. :D

Might want to do a search. The only thing I've heard is you can't adjust the aim.

Lasermax isn't exactly cheap either.

LaserMax units are adjustable in the same manner as the Crimson Trace- tiny hex wrench and 2 socket screws which move the laser.

Several months ago I bought 4 LaserMax units for J frames- 2 for concealed hammer, and 2 for external hammer.

Unfortunately, they came from a run with adjustment problems. I emailed LaserMax, and within a day received a call from the production manager, and then another call from the owner of LaserMax. He asked that I send the units back, which I did.

Shortly thereafter I received new units, which have functioned perfectly. Will H. stayed in email contact to be sure I was satisfied! Customer service doesn't get any better than that!

LaserMax places the laser at the topstrap level, at the rear of the cylinder, which avoids parallax. The downside to this is that shooting ammo loaded with "smoky" powders will coat the laser lens with a residue from the combustion, which has to be wiped off periodically.

One caveat- adjust in small increments, using the poi, not the sights.

I will be buying more of the LaserMax units; Natchez has them on sale periodically.
