I was wondering if they make one. I haven't had my PX4 for long but i've noticed that the guide rod looks like it should be in a cheap toy gun for kids instead. I've had no problems out of mine yet...it's just gets on my nerves everytime i take it apart I'm staring at this flemsy plastic guide rod. I appreciate any info about where to purchase a metal guide rod or if one is even on the market. Thanks

Yes, I know just what you mean, and I was happy to find out about this fellow who makes a wonderful SS replacement guide rod for the PX Storm series.

I have had mine for about 4 months now, and can't say enough good things about it, along with Steve, the maker of these nice replacements for the " toy " plastic version that comes with, otherwise, a fine little pistol.
