For a second there I had flashbacks from watching all the Friday the 13th movies.:p

Talk about destruction... some of the stuff, cutting fruit and paper can go but the other stuff can stay.

While it seems a shame to destroy objects in tests, we do the same thing to cars and trucks. At some point, a Lamborghini Diablo was slammed into a wall replete with crash test dummies.

Now, I watched the Strider product. But then, numerous deployed soldiers carry Strider folders and fixed blades. What's the life of a soldier worth? If a mother could save her son, would she pay Mick? Of course she would.

If you were fighting for your life in a bar fight and I tossed you a Graham, would you throw it back?

There's a time for destruction tests, and a validation that has some value when they represent independent procedures.

We have the "UL label" for Underwriters Laboratories, and most of our homes contain products they have destroyed and certified.
