Is there a brass casing that i can substitute for the original brass to make this ammunition possible. It has been obsolite for about 5 years now can't find brass anywhere. It's a family heirloom that i would love to shoot a few times but there seems to be a shortage of the rounds.

Huntington's has the dies to make your own 7.65 Longue brass out of .30 Carbine, but IMO it's hard to justify nearly $400. (Item # 58209)

Loaded ammo is priced like this:

Thanks for the help. that buffalo arms ammo seems to the way i will go. For i don't know much about reloading rounds. Trimming brass casings is a bit beyond me for now. the gun is a mas model 1935 s.

We had good luck turning the rim off 32 S&W long cases. doesn't take long to turn 50 on the bench lathe once its set up and dialed in.

Thanks for the help.
Glad to be of help.
As you've already suspected, IMO it would take a lot of reloading of 7.65's to make choice #1 anywhere near cost effective!
