While I have had up and down opinions of women serving in combat positions I cannot help but think the process of basic training exposes many young women to many types of firearms as part of their training. I make the assumption that many may never have fired a gun in civilian life. (and these days it not uncommon that young men have had little or no positive exposure to firearms so it's not a sexist comment, just the way of the world)

I hope these young women go away with opinions they have themselves formed, that guns are tools and can be mastered, if not actually a potential candidate for a recreational or a self defense tool in their post miliarty lives.

Basically, I wonder if military exposure to firearms training could have a positive effect on the RKBA issue where women are concerned.
So this poll.

If you know a woman that has had a career in the AFs please direct them to this poll.
