Several times. They are first-rate.

Just so happen to have made a new order from PV this morning. I've ordered form them several times and they are great to deal with. One thing that I need to mention is if you are buying primers and or powder from them they will need you to email or fax them a copy of your drivers license. They will keep it on file so you only have to do it once. PV has very competitive prices plus you only pay one Hazmat fee if you are ordering primers and powder together.

I've heard great things about the company too.
BUT,
Does anyone know how you can view shipping costs on their website??
I know there are hazmat fees on some items, but I'm just trying to get an idea what their base shipping rate is -- prior experience has taught me that some online retailers look like a good deal, only until you see their shipping charges!

It's best to work up a shopping cart at a number of places, all with identical items and check the final total. One thing you'll note at Powder Valley is that shipping is not listed on your online invoice total, that gets added later since they charge actual cost.
Grafs, for example, has shipping built in to the per item cost, and can be less in the end, even though the item cost is higher. So it's worth doing side by side comparisons.
Having said all that, these days it seems like no one has everything I want in stock at the same time, so I'll go with whomever has stock, regardless of a few bucks price difference.
Some possible online shops.

Had good luck with PV Inc. Last year I think it was they had Ramshot TAC powder on sale for $75 for 8#. Wish I had bought more.

I've bought from them in the past. I will in the future, good people.

I've done several orders with them...all first rate transactions. They pack the items pretty well...almost too well.

excellent company to deal with. Shipping costs cannot be assessed at the time of order. they will usually e-mail the shipping costs when your items ship. However, shipping has never exceeded 20 dollars for me, for deliver to either coast.

I've only used them once. I entered the wrong expiration date on my credit card and they actually called me. That is a lot better service than most companies provide.
IIRC they don't give the total on checkout. I prefer to know that beforehand.
Product arrived ahead of schedule. I received what I ordered. What else can I ask?

I ordered from them Monday night, arrived this am on the BBT.
Order weighed 50 lbs, shipping was 19.95.
I got everything I ordered, all packed nice.
I would not hesitate to use them again.

How much do 5k primers weigh by the way?

One of the "go to" places for bullets, primers, and powder.

I've seen lots of good posts on various sites about Powder Valley, but I don't buy from then because they are in Kansas - I live in Kansas and would have to pay Kansas sales tax. (Pretty much cancels a "good deal" from PV.)
If you have a C&R FFL, I suggest Graf & Sons. They give C&R license holders their dealer discount. The dealer discount more than covered both the S/H/I and the HazMat fees on my last order from Graf.

Powder Valley has some of the best prices and they ship the order in record time. I always get my orders very fast.

they have great prices and good people working there. The one and only thing I do not like is you do not know the total ammount of your purchas untill they sent you a bill in your email.
Other then that little quirk they are first rate and will be getting more of my business in the future.

Everything I order from them is in stock if they say it is, they ship fast, they don't try to double dip on shipping and hazmat, I will order from them again!
Having said that, my next order is from Wideners because PV is out of stock on Wolf primers. :(

I have only ordered from them once, but my relatively large order came out perfectly with comparable or better prices than most places. Will definately order from them again.

Powder valley is the best...................when they have Zero bullets in stock. which isnt their fault. Zero is aparently having a hard time with materials. Just as a note zero is a brand and not a number.

I am not impressed with Wideners. I am in the process of getting burned on an order from them. Unless things go in the opposite direction looks like I will learn a $100 lesson not to order from them again. They also have supply issues.

Good folks to do business with, but they don't keep the "in stock" status on their web site very up to date. Often I place a web order and then get a call the next day that something is out of stock. So far things I've left "back ordered" have never came, but I haven't been charged for them either.

One of the very best to deal with. They won't screw you on shipping, either, not to mention somebody like MIDWAY by name.

I recently did a comparison between PV and another on a mix of
items: powder, bullets and primers. PV was cheaper by 13% on a
$200 order. I may have saved a buck or two on shipping as well.
When PV doesn't have the bullets I want, I go to Midway. I usually
want something else from them anyway, and I find that Midway's
customer service is excellent. Not to say that PV's isn't. I just
haven't had occasion to contact them.

just recv'd my part of an order from Powder Valley. prompt delivery and they will ship powder and primers together for one hazmat charge. don't think too many other dealers will do that.
