I suspect a lot of folks would like to have an extention mag for their 870 but don't really like the extra weight or LE/Military look. This might be the answer:

With the 870 Super Mag. this short extention will also bring the total magazing capacity back up to 4 with 3.5" shotshells. Yes it also has a QD sling swivel stud.

I use a Vang Comp one shot extension on my Mossberg 500 Mils-Gun.
Total of seven shots and it is the only one I have found that won't extend past the 20" barrel.

From the photo that Vang extension looks like a Wilson to me. Does Vang make his own extensions or does he rebrand product made by others? Just curious.

That is a 18.5" barrel you have on your 500 Mils-Gun, not a 20" barrel. Here is a +2 extension that gives 7+1 capacity for the 590A1 18.5" barrel that also fits the 500 Mils-Gun. It is even with the muzzle and it is a very high quality tube ext. I make these tube ext.

All of these Mossberg shotguns with a 18.5" bbl take the same tube ext: 590A1, 835, 500 Breacher, 500 Mils-Gun. The Mossberg 935 takes the same tube ext but a different length.
