I disassembled the slide a few months ago, but can't find the website I used for directions. I have the springs for trigger and hammer spring, but I don't want to guess.
Just need directions for disassembling trigger and receiver?

That's the site!
Thanks!
I don't like playing with springs
:cuss: I'm gonna force myself to do this.

The frame isn't bad. I haven't done the slide yet. I wanna clean up all that crap under the extractor. Is it hard? I'm scared of dorking up my decocker.

Skunk, do you still have your Vertec? If so do you still have the D spacer in it?
Soda Pop, that's funny that you posted this because I've been wanting to do the same thing. Let us know how it goes.

I've done the whole tear down for my Colt 1991A1 and Beretta (only the slide so far).
I've taken the Colt apart twice now. It's easy.
When I first started working on the Beretta I broke the punch.:cuss: Other than that it wasn't hard.
I just don't like seeing pictures of needle nose plyers and trying to fit things in little wholes. I've gotten better at this stuff, but I don't like doing it too much.
Both pistols have seen close to 10,000rds and I knew it was time to do some maintenance.
Didn't get a chance to tear down the Beretta tonight. I'll work on it tomorrow.
There is a lot of crud that built up in places I never even looked at before.

Only took me about 45minutes to tear it apart and put it back.:)
I really don't notice much of a difference. The trigger seems to reset a little quicker, but thats about it.
I really don't like this trigger design. The whole trigger is suspended by the spring. Its more like a trampoline than a normal trigger.
I've asked this question a thousand times........... is there anything you can do to tighten up these triggers?

Sodapop...reset quicker? Did you put one of those adjustable things in there? What parts did you buy???
As for needlenose pliers, I guess it's good to have little banjo fingers :D

I only put Wolf springs in the gun. I've replaced everything but the hammer spring.
This gun has had over 10,000rds threw it and things have gotten kinda sluggish.
The slide went half cock on me a few months ago because the recoil spring was so weak. The gun still functioned fine.
