Bought in AZ knowing I would be doing security work on arrival in Las Vegas AND that it takes four months to get concealed weapons permit. Here, as long as some of it is visible, it is no concealed(even though most of it is not visible).
It is a sweet blade, one of the finest I have ever owned.
I did lose the stud(lock tite yours!), and that made the blade real wobbley...but still secure enough for emergency use. Camillus sent me another free of charge...though it took well over a week and came in a box much larger than required(?) I can fit my ParaOrd LDA Companion(my other duty defensive tool) AND my Colt Officer's in that box!
Recently I bent the spring clip(it caught on the seat of my car) and I have to unscrew the clip to straighten it.
And it is sharp! An idiot cut himself with it while slicing foodstuff(it is a working blade) and it was deep!!! The warning 'be careful, it's sharp' did not sink in.
You do have to care for the blade. Rust forms pretty quick!
It opens smoothly and rapidly, had to pull it one night.
I have even used the butt for some light pounding and the titanium scales show not a mark for its abuse!
It is a KEEPER!
