I was wondering how well kel tec parkarization holds up against rust when exposed to sweat and water. I would guess that the hard chrome finish would be more corrosion resistant but I prefer the dark matte finnish of the parkarization or even the blued finish. so for those of you with P32's and p11's do you have any rust problems?

The bluing rusts very quickly, it must be wiped down every day, without fail, that I sweat on it. If not wiped down, day 2 will show rust.

My P-11 is Parkerized, and I have been very pleased with the durability of the Kel-Tec slide finish.
Alot of people seem to "dis" these guns, but I have three of them (2 P32's and a P11) and 2 out of 3 needed NOTHING but cleaning and lube out of the box, and the other P32 (purchased used) needed a little fluff and buff, and is also now 100%.

My stainless P-32 has had no rust problems at all, but my blued P-11 rusted up really badly after only one day of carrying it around in my pocket just around the house! I plan to get the $20 hard chrome slide replacement soon.
If you're going to carry it, get the chrome finish (or at least parkerized).

I carry my P32 with the belt clip almost ever time I leave the house except to go to work. It has not rusted any yet and I live in LA andwork in MS, so it is very humid.

My p3at showed signs of rust after onlt a few days of pocketcarry, hardchrome is not available yet so I tried some breakfree per the advive of flyer and will never use a never metal lube/conditioner.
This stuff is the real deal. I use it and shooters choice grease on the rails with perfect funtion, and not a sign of rust since I started using breakfree after 2 months of humid pocketcarry.
I do wipe it down every few days with a hoppies silicon cloth and recoat the slide with breakfree every week orso.
