I've been looking around for a bit for a good metering powder to use in my .300 Weatherby reloads (dies are on the way) ... I'll be loading them in my Hornady progressive press. The measure prefers non-stick powder, of course. I ran across the 100V powder on the Hodgdon site, looks promising (both ballistically and from the consistency standpoint)... anyone use this stuff?

Anyone? Or can you recommend another good metering powder for the .300 Weatherby?

I've got a pound in the garage but have yet to experiment with it.

I noticed there were some 257 Roberts loads with Hybrid that could be promising, but I haven't seen where or why it's better for other cartridges except that it may meter better.

I'm most interested in the metering properties...

Try RL22 for good behavior going thru your meter. The new H4831SC is ok, but not as slick as the RL22. Both powders are compatible with your 300WM.
Haven't yet trialed the 7828 SC, but that might have possibilities.
