Weird Kahr problem...help!

I have a Kahr CW 40 that has been having some significant issues. I purchased the gun in March, and it just hasn't functioned properly. I have shot about 300-400 rounds so far, with some unusual failures. I was able to determine that Winchester White Box feeds well in the gun, but once I discovered a good feeding ammo, other problems surfaced.
I have had an issue with the slide jamming past the slide lock on the gun while shooting 165 gr WWB. A strange problem. Additionally, stove pipes and crushed brass have arisen. Upon my last field strip, I noticed that the mag follower on the magazine is broken. I am not sure at what point it broke, but I found the broken piece inside the mag. I am hoping this is the problem, as it definitely had an impact on the ability of the gun to feed. Can the damaged mag follower also cause the slide to advance past the slide lock and jam?

If you bought it new in March, and it has never worked right, I would be having a discussion with Kahr about, it rather then working on it myself using internet advice.

I don't disagree, but believe it or not, I have Kahr sending a new mag follower, but I have never seen a slide get jammed past the stop. I guess I am just curious as to whether or not anyone might have an idea what would cause that.

We need more explanation about the slide "Getting jammed past the slide lock".
Do you mean the slide moves FORWARD past the slide lock?
Is the slide lock moving out of the frame and allowing the slide to move forward?

On recoil, the slide will come back to eject the spent casing, but will stay back instead of returning to battery. The only problem is, it isn't getting hung up on the slide release, in fact, it is going far past the spot where the slide release would normally hook the slide open. When in this position, it is jammed open...it takes great force to return the slide to battery. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Some suggestions to try to narrow the problem down:
1. Remove the barrel and recoil spring and just work the slide, really slamming it back or even using a rubber or plastic mallet to drive it back. If that jams the slide, then the frame or slide rails may not be machined properly, or some part of the slide or frame may be a bad fit.
2. If the slide-frame combo works OK, then when the slide hangs up, (whether in firing or testing) try to see if the barrel is loose. If the barrel can't be moved, the slide could be hanging up on the barrel. Since that pistol (IIRC) uses a cam locking rather than a link, the machining of the cam could be off.
3. If the pistol has a full length guide rod, it could be bent or defective in some way.
4. When the slide hangs up in firing, remove the magazine. The slide could be hanging up on the top of a magazine.
5. It is unlikely, but the slide could be hanging up on the hammer or disconnector.
