I must be slow because I searched Cabela's site earlier and looked again now and still can't find it. In what category did you look? Thanks:D

See here (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/index/index-display.jhtml;jsessionid=4DJUZGXWCVAPACWQNVCSFGAK0BWUMIV0?id=cat20797&navAction=jump&navCount=1&parentId=cat20712&parentType=category&rid=&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fcatalog%2Fcategory-link.jhtml_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20712) and scroll down to see the snap caps pictured above. Bear in mind that these are not "dummy shells" but "snap caps" - designed to let you press the trigger and release the firing pin without risking damage to it. "Dummy shells" is a term more often used to describe rounds loaded without powder, projectile or primer, that are designed to be loaded through and ejected from the action of a firearm in order to test those functions. They are typically not "snap caps".

Brownells has "action Proving dummies." I use them in teaching Home Firearm Safety classes. I have 12 gauge and 20 gauge in plastic hulls that would be ideal for your purposes. I also have .410's in paper hulls. They would not be quite as durable. The dummies are loaded with shot, weigh the same as live shells, but they are put up in dummy cases made either with dummy primers (pierced) or with no primer pocket at all.

Good luck!

Get the aluminum A-Zooms, they have the right weight and last much longer than the plastic ones -especially if you practice ejections and shell selection tactics. The brass ones are cool, but they look too much like real ones when in the chamber and tube.
