Just thought I'd share my initial impression of my new CCW rig for my SIG P226; A Comp-Tac Minotaur IWB, ordered directly from Comp-Tac, and a 5.11 Tactical polymer-reinforced leather gunbelt from LA Police gear.
I knew the Comp-Tac would be awesome (Everyone is raving about them) and it is. The company was an absolute joy to do business with, and will get much of my business in the future. Nice touches included a handwritten thankyou note and , of course, the holster candy!
The 5.11 belt is good too. It's the first actual dedicated gunbelt I've ever owned, and let me tell you, it does make a difference over a regular men's dress belt from Belk's. It even has a nice polymer insert to maintain stiffness. For $25.99 +S&H, you can't go wrong with that.
So... moral of the story... Comp-Tac=Awesome, and gun belts are a good thing to own, and they don't have to cost an arm and a leg. (And mine even has the "tactical" handcuff key pocket in the middle of the back, just in case I ever need to escape after being arrested )
