Tactical Briefcase? What would you buy?

Ok folks, the summertime heat (nice 90+ heatwave recently) reminded me that my 5.11 tac vest is not a good summer option. Of course I knew that going in, but I neglected to shop early and get myself a nice other option.

Now I start looking. I need to find something that serves most needs, laptop, 8.5x11 files, diabetes supplies, food, juices, magazines/speedloaders, PDA, and of course a possible place to put a compact 1911 or a S&W 642. Normally the last two would be on my person, so that is not a 'needed' item in the bag, BUT it may go in there, so I have to consider it. Actually this is a good excuse to look at those NAA .22WMR Reolvers as a BUG in the bag :D

I've found the bag from Blackhawk (http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?productID=16958&TabID=1&cm_sp=ItemBanners-_-BestSellers_1-_-16958) in their 'Advanced Tactical Briefcase' which looked like it may fit the bill. Problem then, as I read about it, there is an earlier produced bag from BBP (http://www.bbpbags.com/hamptons_collection.html) that looks almost identical! :banghead:

If you were going to purchase one of these two, what would you look at buying? ...and yes I'm very aware that many folks don't need or want a 'man-purse' but for some of us it is needed. (Carrying diabetes supplies is a pain)

Thoughts? Other options?

Good looking bag, that Blackhawk.

I would personally go with something that I can line with ceramic plates to protect my head from possible incoming .308 rounds... :scrutiny: :neener:
