Does any one know if there is one close to the DFW metroplex? I know of one close to Austin but I am not sure I really want to drive all the way out there...

As of now, there are only two locations for Appleseed Shoots in all of Texas, that is Davilla and Amarillo.

Now don't let that discourage you, as the Appleseed Project loves to travel, and would be more than happy to bring an Appleseed to your back yard, if you desire.

So, feel free to PM me for details on how to host an Appleseed.

It is very easy, the RWVA provides the course, Instructors, course material, targets, our own liability insurance, national/regional promotion, T-shirts for those that attend 2 days, flyers you can copy for local distribution, and lots of good times.

Really, you find us a location, get a date approved, and help with some promotions, and you have an Appleseed Shoot, where you want one ;) Can't get much easier than that, unless you want to drive to Davilla or Amarillo :p
