We think and write about what we might do in the event we are faced with a hostile group but for most of us it's an imaginary exercise, one we will never have to experience. In fact, few of us have enough imagination to match what some people in other parts of the world have to contend with on a daily basis.

For those of you that have not been introduced to Ferfal, let me explain as well as I am able. Ferfal is an Argentine national living in Buenos Aires and trying to make a living, raise a family and stay alive. He has had to defend himself and his family a number of times from criminal elements among the common citizens and the police. He has lived through things that most of us cannot even imagine. Fortunately, he writes well and has seen fit to recount his experiences for our benefit.

Here is his latest installment. Read it and learn.

Link doesn't work - no matter, here it is: http://ferfal.blogspot.com/

Argentina sounds like parts of Africa as far as armed gangs are concerned - hmmm.
