Removing recoil pad on Sako 75?

I have a Sako 75 hunter, wood stock. I'm thinking about replacing the factory recoil pad with something better, like Limbsaver. However, I can't figure out how to remove the existing recoil pad -- at least without destroying it and burning my bridges in case I wanted to go back to factory original later.

Any tips? Thanks, guys.

I would imagine it is attached with two screws like most pads on wood stocks.

Look very carefully for signs of tiny closed-up holes in the pad where the screws went in.
Done properly, with a lubed smooth shank screwdriver, they will be very hard to see.

Once you find them, apply silicone to the pad & screwdriver and take them out.
More then likely they are Phillips-head screws, but could be something else.
