Gun looks like a stainless Ruger AC556. What kind of stainless scope is on this rifle at the very end of the clip (reticle at around 7:23, markings at 7:29 There is a very distinctive mark that looks like a crown on the eyepiece and I believe a # 9 (3-9X40?)

:rolleyes:I've contacted Mark Shelly about your question and he is going to get back with me next week about it. Mark Shelly was the weapons master in charge of that movie and many others.
I'll quote him.
"I can answer your question but will have to check with our records in London on Monday. I will get back with you then."

Ok here you go, ask and yea shall receive.
The scope mounted on the mini-14 is made by "Nikko Sterling (http://www.nikkostirling.com/)"
The scope is the "Gold Crown wide angle 3-9x40".
Designed mainly for Air-rifles.
Not of very good quality but it looked good on the rifle.

THANKS ALOT BRO! That is definitely the scope. They actually make a model called the gold crown that is for centerfire rifles. They have a gold crown airking for air guns.
Here is the scope only in black instead of silver.
