i have a 995 carbine and my front sight fell off one day and then the rear one became loose and the screws stripped when i tried to tighten them.

i put a scope on it but it would seem the scope refuses to stay tight or zero in so i contacted MKS supply and they got me in touch with the factory.

heres how the call went

*ring ring*
"hi-point?"
"yes i have one of your 995 carbines and my sights fell off"
"do you needs the screws or the whole assembly?"
"everything, i misplaced the rear assembly."
"name?"
"*gives name*"
"address?"
"*gives address*"
"ok i'll get that in the mail for you"
"than...*gets hung up on*"

the woman that i talked to was very abrupt and borderline rude but she did help me more than i figured.

i was thinking i would probably get the front for free but have to buy the rear since i am the one who lost it but it seems they are sending both out for free.

time will tell if they do.

In my email communications with the company, I've also noticed that they have a tendancy to be pretty abrupt. Maybe it's because it's a small company, I don't know. From what I hear, you certainly can expect to receive those sights though.

I melted the trigger in my 995 with brake cleaner. I called them and had about the same conversation. Complete trigger assembly was in my mail box 2 days later. FREE. no questions, didnt ask for s/n, just sent the parts.
I like that warranty.

I wonder how big the profit margin is on one of their rifles. I mean how many parts can they send out on a rifle to still have made a profit on it. I have a funny fealing that they could sent you a whole new replacement gun and still break even or better on the transaction.

Tell you what, if I knew I worked for a company that made something as hideous as this:

I do believe I would be chronically pissed off too. ;)
