Environmentalist ashamed to be in the same side as ELF arsonists (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=468891#post468891)

This thread started out about the ELF arsonists that struck a West Covina, CA SUV dealership. The greenies/environmentalists have come out of the woodwork, and some of us VRWC's (:D) are having fun playing whack-a-greenie.

Now, there are some bleeding-hearts that came in, and the whack-a-bleeding-heart has commence.

I quit reading when someone cried about the fact that in 100 years there may be no oil left to use. If he's dumb enough to think that oil will be even a minor energy source in a century, then he's too dumb to listen to. Oil is much too valuable as a chemical base for us to keep using it as we do today. Long before we get really (as opposed to ignorant doomsday predictions) short (there is probably another 2 centuries worth of the stuff out there) there will be something else in it's place. It's called progress.
We are getting near to the time for another technological leap. What it will be, no one can predict. But like all the previous ones, it will change everything for another century or so. And be fun when it comes.
