Effective at 1:08 pm today South Carolina and North Carolina have entered into a reciprocity agreement.

Thanks to SC Attorney General Henry McMaster, Rep. Bill Sandifer and of course SLED Chief Robert Stewart and officials in North Carolina for working this out.

Work is currently in progress to make Florida the next state to enter an agreement with South Carolina. The AG's opinion should help in Florida. The same criteria of "substantially similar" makes its likely that South Carolina will be the 24th state to enter an agreement with Florida.

South Carolina and Tennessee already have reciprocity. Georgia, while a real possibility is far less likely than Florida.
