Thinking about making a cart for a couple of shotguns, ammo, cooler, etc, to use when shooting sporting clays. The more bells and whistles, the better.

If you feel like posting some photos, I'd really appreciate that! :)

Rugged Gear makes non-powered shooting carts. I bought one of their Shooting Cart Combo Packages earlier for 3-gun matches. It's actually better suited to sporting clays, but I knew that when I purchased it.

Are you talking about your basic golf cart or a push cart that's been converted? I have a three-wheel push cart I've converted - otherwise, as the other poster said, Rugged Gear makes a nice even if it looks like a baby buggy...;)

Yes, a three-wheel push cart that is collapsible for storage would be ideal.

Not to flog a commercial product excessively, but the Rugged Gear offering is collapsable too. Also simplifies fitting into a sedan as opposed to just a truck or SUV.

I made one years ago using a golf pull cart, a wire basket, and a Kolpin gunboot. The end result was so silly looking that I got a good laugh out of it and tossed it in a trash dumpster.

I just had a horrible flashback to posts regarding the "tactical wheelbarrow".

Krimmie, that's one serious looking golf bag cart. You folks in Miami obviously mean business when you play golf. Now when I hear a Miami golfer talk about shooting par I'm going to ask "How many times?"

(I'd like to see a golf bag conversion too but it doesn't look as if it's going to happen.)

Actually, I was half - hoping that this thread would be about Shotgun Golfing (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?id=1992213). Turns out that such a cart would be perfect for the sport! Hunter Thompson's final invention lives on!!

Thanks for getting it to work!

BTW, that bag hanging down came with the cart - it has storage in the top half and a the bottom is a cooler for cokes or water...

Look for Cowboy gun carts. Those of us who enjoy Cowboy Action Shooting need to haul around a pair of long guns plus ammo, etc. You can find plain lightweight metal ones up to huge war wagons.
