I have been watching my evening news and fox news and it really seems like the spot light is on guns and it is in a good way. Nightline on ABC has been showing people open carrying and expressing gun rights every night and not once have I heard an argument against them or anything. Could we have won the war and have gotten the support of citezens who knew nothing about guns before? :)

I have seen this too and have noticed an increase in the people buying guns. There are more gun owners than ever for many reasons. One being 9/11 attacks, another the showing of guns on so many movies and there cool factor causing so many to want to own one, and the internet. I believe laws have changed too, going more on our side because in a way we are all band together on the internet, something that didnt exist a decade ago. The way things are going CCW being one of them we may see MG's legal again soon or at least the post 86 part gone. The NRA too has become so good at defending our freedoms it is unreal . I love throwing money at them becasue I know they will fight for us, and they need too more then ever with the new elections and this AWB II coming.:fire:

It is the flavor du jour at the network media... You can bet that if it had went the other way, there would be talking heads on the networks yakking it up about how great it was that we finally ended the second amendment.

The 'media' with announce whatever their 'funding by special interests' will say,as the American people are too busy trying to earn a living,etc.to really notice the 'constant flip-flops'.
