Just purchased a new Mossberg 500 in .410. I haven't detail stripped it but gave it a quick once over.
You have to really slam the forearm foward in order to get the chamber to lock-up.....and while dry firing...about 1 time out of 3 the forearm won't release when the trigger is pulled...you have to hit the release lever.
I have not fired it yet......hopefully it will loosen up.
My 12ga. didnt have this problem.
Ideas????
