Hi. I apologise if this is not the proper forum.

That said, I am interested in a kydex sheath or two.

I definitely want an IWB for my Strider GB folding knife.

Anyone here make them?

Please?

I've had a HECK of a time finding anyone who makes 'em!

just use duct tape, sticky side out, it'll adhere nicely to the inside of your pants and the outside of your drawers.

Well ya, I can indeed. But I'm only doing local; I'll be fitting the sheath (IWB a specialty) to both you and your knife.

Are you anywhere near the SF Bay Area?

Hummm I need one for a Benchmade and a Surefire 6P. Doc lets make a trip.

Kydex is pretty easy material to work with. All you need is a ray (heat) gun, that rivet machine and some manual skills. :)

Hey Jim can you post some of your holsters?

Those are early prototypes.

Basically, what I'm doing is using very thin .060" grade kydex for the main body (yes, I have black now too!) and .090" thicker stuff for the belt connections. They connect at "swivels" that let the whole thing flex as you sit, stand and walk.

I have somewhat better edge-finishing techniques now (better Dremel felt polishing wheels). The edges still aren't quite as "clean looking" as the very best factory kydex by Sidearmor or similar but then again, I can sheath or holster *anything* and I fit it all to you on-site.

:)
