How many have bought a "Heller Handgun"?

Here's the one my wife purchased to celebrate the ruling. I'm still looking for mine. :D
I'm not sure this pistol is at all practical, but it is a pretty neat little piece of machinery.

Found a very nice CZ40B with wood grips and Tritium sights at the local gun show on Saturday. Had one fellow bad-mouthing me as I walked away with it in my bag (bet I beat him to it).

Not so much a Heller handgun, more of an Independence Day handgun, but I'm picking up a S&W model 610 revolver on the 4th. :)

With money getting tighter all the time, and ammunition prices what they are, if I buy anything it's going to be some "Heller ammo" - not another gun.

Not quite a handgun, but one of the silencers goes on my 9mm handguns. :D

Waiting on a reimbursement cheque to come in and refill my account with the money I spent for business, so my Heller Handgun will be delayed. When that does come in though I'm back and forth between a CZ RAMI or a Bersa 380. I really like the RAMI, but it might be too thick for a summer CCW.
Not interested in a polymer sub-compact as their lack of weight tends to make them feel less secure to me. Love my full-size polymer M&P for winter carry though.

Sorry, it's not a "Heller handgun" unless it holds less than 12 rounds, at least according to Mayor Fenty.

I WAS going to get a new Heller commemorative handgun -- either a Ruger GP100 or an SP101 -- but bought an AR-15 rifle instead.
Since Scalia mentioned allowing "reasonable restrictions" on gun ownership, I am betting the Clinton "assault weapons" ban will come back on Obama's coattails. Hope I'm wrong.

It's not for defense, I have that covered, but I'm gonna pick up a S&W 17 or 617 this week in celebration of Heller. Gunshop has them both in the case and I've been going back and forth on which to choose.

I got my tax stimulus check about a week before Heller, so I went gun shopping. I didn't see anthing I wanted immediately, so I ordered a Ruger New Vaquero in .45 Colt, Stainless Steel 7.5" barrel. I picked it up on the day the Supreme Court decision came down.

I was on a cruise in the Bahamas for my honeymoon all last week. I spent most of Thursday sitting in our stateroom on the ship watching CNN (fortunately my wife knew how enthusastic I am on gun rights issues before she married me, so she didn't get too irritated). Just yesterday I bought myself a beautiful Colt 1991 commander, both as a wedding present for myself and as a celebration of the Heller decision. Tonight my wife and I will put it through it's paces at the range. God bless America's 1st freedom!

No, but I did pick up a stripped lower and two 30-round mags for an AR.
With money getting tighter all the time, and ammunition prices what they are, if I buy anything it's going to be some "Heller ammo" - not another gun.
I hear you. My gun purchases are nearing an end for a while. I'm trying to get an AR built, but that's all I need. Well, I may need a Remington 870, but that's all I need. And, then maybe a Ruger GP100 if I can scrape up the dough. But, that's all I need.
I wish the election was two years from now so I could get over this feeling of being rushed into buying everything I want in the next few months. I'm trying to buy the 'evil' stuff first so I can get back to handguns.

I just put a Colt Commander on layaway yesterday, does that count? I've got some minor tweaks in mind for this one and then it'll be my new carry gun.
Thinking I'll bobtail it and set it up as close to my NHC T3 as possible: Straight Eights, crowned barrel, 3.5 - 4 lb trigger, etc.

No Heller handguns, but I'm working on a scary, black AR-15 with lots of eeeeevil hi-cap mags. And I'll be stocking up on a bunch of vicious, super dooper high-powered .223 ammo that will stop a T-72 in it's tracks! ;)
At least it'll T-off an anti somewhere.
My father will be ordering a Baby Desert Eagle Semi-Compact in 9mm tomorrow ... his first handgun will be a Heller!

I'd been thinking about buying a gun based on the Heller outcome, no matter what that outcome actually was -- and that's the day I decided to get the Witness that's now being shipped :)
Thinking of getting it engraved with both my law school's logo (Temple Law -- and No, it's not a very pro-gun place) and a citation to the case, as well as to the 2d Amdt. Need to find an engraver with good rates for all that, though ;)

More "in case of Obama" than Heller, but I'm scarifying my 10/22 with a Tapco T6 stock and Tactical Innovations T125 banana mag.
Also have a CZ 452 Military Trainer on layaway.
Almost zero chance that I'll get a nice scary black centerfire before it's too late. Good thing I have my SKS and Mosin Finnish M39 already!

"More 'in case of Obama' than Heller...."
That's exactly why I bought my AR. Took me 8 months to pay it off but I got in under the wire. I haven't even shot it yet but at least I know I've got one. Now I really want a Sabre Defence upper in 6.8 SPC to go with it. I still might pick up a stripped lower or two just to tinker with later on.

I just got the Trainer myself. I was hoping to try it for the first time yesterday but the range I frequent was closed for maintenance :( . Maybe tomorrow. What a nice handling rifle though, you are gonna love it! The bolt is stiff, but once you remove it for a good clean/lube and work the action 100+ times it will losen up quite a bit.
My father has an SKS that he keeps in my safe (along with the CZ-452) and I'd really like to add an M39 next year. I'm working on the AR right now. Looks like our safes look a lot alike . The M39s are safe from another AWB, but they are getting more rare by the day.
You should have plenty of time to get your scary black rifle. Figure the next President and Congress won't come in until Jan '09, and it would probably be at least a few months beyond that before any :cuss: legislation is signed, if it comes up at all. Hopefully this next batch of self-serving politicians will be bright enough to figure out that they have more to lose politically from passing something like an AWB II than they have to gain.

Suddenly it occurs to me that probably the best definition of a "Heller Handgun" or Heller gun is one which is not altogether too common right now, but which one buys simply to help make the case, through direct example, that it is indeed in common usage, and thus protected. Examples in handguns might be AR "pistols", AK "pistols", Tec-9s, Uzis, Ingrams, anything else vilified by the anti-gunners based on looks or magazine capacity.

The day I heard the ruling I ordered a bunch of 30 round AR15 mags.
My goal is at least 100 AR mags by election day.
I'm getting there quick ;)
On July 3rd I bought my stainless steel CZ-75B and soon thereafter acquired six 16 round mags for it by Mec-Gar.
The more I shoot it, the more it becomes my favorite pistol.
I want another CZ-75B in a blued finish to compliment it.
