I have until now used the Vinegar recipie to clean the brass. However have noticed that it isnt really shiny... so decided to tumble instead.

Used walnut media, a couple of squirts of Flitz media polish, and a dryer sheet. The brass is very clean indeed. However how does one get the dust out of the interior?

Also since I deprimed.. 99% of my primer pockets have media in them...:banghead:

Tumble them before you deprime them, and then again after you finish loading them if a high-gloss finish is desired.

Don't worry about the dust. It doesn't hurt anything.

It also helps if you use a rotary media separator.

The tumbling empty brass will knock a lot of that stuff out.

I dont think I am quite at the tumble fnished rounds yet. Since I am only loading 5-10 per caliber per bullet/powder/primer combo...

Ah well back to the .222 RM and .300 WM as regularly scheduled events.
And the 8x60S plinker... for which I did a very light load and ended up with puffed primers. Loaded some at 40gr as a start for 196 when the only data I could find was one posted on the net.
Have worked up to 44 gr so far no signs of pressure. The primers became normal at 41 gr of Tu 5000.:evil:
