I had a dealer today tell me today that the SAR-1 is not being imported anymore. He had 1 laminates stock left and was asking $430 with 1 10 round mag and 1 30 round mag. Is this a good price? Is it true about the availibilty?

The price isn't too bad . $25 high in some parts of the country , $25 low in others .
As the buyer for our gun shop , I could call 3 distributors tomorrow and get some SAR1's on the road . They're available .

Picked up my SAR-1 at a show a few weeks back for $299. That's with a 10 round magazine, a 40 round magazine, cleaning kit, and sling. This particular seller has them and didn't indicate anything about them being harder to get.

SAR1's are still available. Look around and you will find them. The price is creeping up a little in places but they are still around. Century intl. say's they are no longer going to import them so get one while you can.
