Some of you may or may not remember. I was torn between buying a Kimber Ultra Carry (3 inch barrel) or a Glock 30.

Well, I went to Galyans, opened up a credit card which allows 10% off of your first purchase (firearms included) with 0% interest for a year, and bought BOTH a Kimber Pro Carry (4 inch barrel) and a Glock 30.

I saved over 120 bucks by buying both guns at the same time and getting 10% off the total purchase price. Price for the Kimber Pro Carry was 611.00 and the G30 was 494.00.

I really could not decide which gun I wanted/liked more so that is what I did. This is my first gun purchase since 2001. I figured I deserved both of them. I hope I got a good deal because I sure did shop around long enough....

You got a deal on the Kimber. Is it series I or II? If ser. I then it's an even better deal! You'll like the Procarry. They shoot sweet!

I did the same thing to get my Kimber Stainless II. I told myself no more credit cards but the deal was too good to pass up since it will be paid off in a year.

Ya did good! Can't go too wrong with that deal, and if you decide you don't like one of them, you can always sell it.

The Pro Carry is a much better choice than any of the mini Kimbers. I prefer the Pro Carry HD (all stainless) since the added heft makes it shoot easier/better for me but if you carry often the alloy frame model might be better.

My Pro Carry is a Series II. Hard to fibnd any new Series I anymore.

If you find one snap it up. I picked up a Pro-Carry HD series I last year and can't say enough good things about it. :D
