Ever fired these?
They are HOT.
Is there any factory load hotter than these?
Story: I picked some up and took them to the local indoor range. Fired off a few .38 specials and everything was fine. Then I put in 6 .38's with 1 cor-bon at the end (I have a 7 shot cylinder)
bang
bang
bang
bang
bang
bang
...BOOOOOOOM...
3 guys near me on the firing line walked over to see what I was shooting, and they were as amazed as I was. I've shot plenty of .357's but these cor-bons are the hottest I've seen so far.

They make at least five different 357 variants - which one were you shooting?

I love Corbon .357 200grain hard cast. This is MY load of choice in everything from 2inch Colt Lawman to 8 3/8" model 27 S&W. IT KEEPS GOING AND GOING........:D

I like their 125 gr defensive loads. Flash color is such that minimal loss of night vision. Worked in low light multiple popup situation and was able to acquire the additional targets quite rapidly.
Nice boom too.

The 180 grain and 200 grain Cor Bon loads are on the hot side. While most .357 magnum ammunition is mild recoiling in my GP 100s, the 180 and 200 grain Cor Bons are sure enough to grap my attention.

Hmm, might have to try those heavier Cor-Bon loads. My GP100 and I sure like the Federal 180gr loads.

Here's what the .357 loads did from my sp101 and a pair of GP100s
2.25” Barrel 4” Barrel 6” Barrel
110 1466 1635 1725
125 1357 1513 1526
140 1225 1355 1388
180 SP 1142 1287 1370
200cast 1265 1307
the JSP 180 took a bit of a shove to eject but the other jhp loads, fell from the chambers will a slight nudge. The 140 turned in a 1.1" group from the 6" gp and all loads were accurate. All clocked higher velocities than advertised by the company.
